Am I against AI content? No, I think it's great! But there are some people out there passing off AI content as human written that is super hard to detect.
Today, I want to share something crucial with you all—Page Speed! It’s something we often overlook, but it’s more important now than ever before. It’s like the heartbeat of your website, and it can significantly impact your conversion rate.
Page speed is the pulse of user experience on the web. It’s the time it takes for your webpage to load and present content to your visitors. In today’s fast-paced world, users expect webpages to load in the blink of an eye, and if they don’t, it could be costing you big time!
According to Cloudflare, 47% of customers expect a webpage to load in 2 seconds or less. And studies consistently show that the quicker a webpage loads, the more likely a user is to perform the targeted action on that webpage.
Optimizing page speed is crucial for improving user experience and boosting conversion rates. Below are the steps that can be taken to ensure optimal page speed.
The first step in optimizing page speed is to ensure that you are on the right platform that is known for speed. The platform is the foundation of your site, and it should be capable of handling all the functionalities efficiently while maintaining speed. Research and choose a platform that is renowned for its speed and performance. If you don't know what you should choose, just reach out to me here.
Sometimes functions you need to add to your website involves using custom code. While custom code gives you more control and flexibility, it’s essential to use it wisely. Avoid unnecessary and bulky code, and keep it clean and efficient. This will reduce the load time and enhance the page speed.
Images are often the culprits for slow page speeds. Optimize your images by compressing them without compromising quality. Also, use appropriate sizes that suit your webpage. Large, high-resolution images can significantly slow down your page, so it’s crucial to find the right balance between quality and size.
A Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a network of servers that deliver web content based on the user's geographical location. Leveraging a CDN can significantly improve page load times as it allows for quicker and more efficient content delivery. Choose a reliable CDN provider and configure it properly to enhance your page speed.
Optimizing page speed is not a one-time task. It’s an ongoing process that requires continuous monitoring and optimization. Regularly test your page speeds, identify any bottlenecks, and optimize them. Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in web development to maintain optimal page speed.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your webpage is optimized for speed, providing a seamless and enjoyable user experience, which in turn can lead to higher conversion rates.
Conversion rate is the percentage of users who take a desired action on your webpage. It’s tied directly to how much revenue a website generates. For instance, if 100 users visit a page, and 2 users actually make a purchase, then the conversion rate is 2%. It’s a critical metric, and page speed has a huge impact on it.
A delay in page load time can lead to a decline in conversion rate. For example, pages that loaded in 2.4 seconds had a 1.9% conversion rate, and at 5.7+ seconds, the conversion rate was 0.6%.
Several companies have experienced the impact of page speed on conversion rates.
These seemingly small increases in conversion have a huge impact on revenue. If an e-commerce site produces 10 million dollars in sales per year, a 2% increase in conversion rate after improving load time by a second can result in a $200,000 increase in revenue!
Page speed is no longer just a technical metric; it’s a marketing essential. It affects user experience, SEO, and most importantly, conversion rate.
By optimizing page speed, you are not just improving the performance of your website; you are enhancing the user experience and maximizing your revenue potential.
Once upon a time, in the land of the World Wide Web, I was an avid WordPress user. The platform, with its speed and SEO-friendly interface, seemed like the quintessential tool for building my online space. However, as the days went by and the online environment evolved, I found myself leaning more towards sales funnel software or hosted systems, veering away from my old friend, WordPress.
Don’t get me wrong, WordPress is great, especially when it comes to:
However, it falls short when it comes to:
So why have I opted for platforms that are essentially "hosted for you"?
Because they deal with the hassles of maintenance, selling, and security so that I can direct my energies towards design, testing, and selling. Clickfunnels, for instance, is a boon for most online businesses as it provides a seamless, hosted solution.
Now, there are moments when I would recommend WordPress, specifically when:
In fact, you might have noticed that my personal website is still on WordPress. The reason is simple: my site is my canvas for coding and design experiments, rather than a platform for selling products. I’m not overly concerned if it goes offline for a short period, unlike other businesses where a 30-minute downtime could cost tens of thousands of dollars.
Every business is different, and identifying the exact tools you need can be overwhelming. Whether you are exploring the online realm for the first time or are a seasoned entrepreneur looking to optimize your online presence, I'm here to assist you.
The shift from conventional website-building to focusing on sales funnels has been a game-changer for me. It allows me to show what’s truly possible, pushing boundaries and exploring new territories in the online landscape. It’s about creating exciting, dynamic spaces where ideas blossom, and businesses grow.
So, if you’re pondering over your online platform choices, weigh in your priorities, assess your business model, and decide whether you need a tool for a vibrant, unique presentation or a powerhouse for selling. After all, it’s all about aligning your tools with your vision and creating something exceptional!
Hello everyone! Michael Pedrotti here, with yet another exciting journey I want to share with you! It’s a thrilling rollercoaster, showcasing how my business partner, John Koch, and I turned a big, bold ZERO into a whopping $21,034 in just a mere 30 days! 🚀 Yes, you read that right!
John and I zeroed in on a product we were eager to sell. We were on a golden ticket as we were earning a 75% commission for every sale. With our eyes on the prize, we had women aged 30 - 55 in our crosshairs.
We shaped up a landing page using Clickfunnels, giving our audience a succinct rundown of what the product was about, wrapping it up in a design that was both appealing and trustworthy to them. Of course, sprinkling some social proof on the page was the secret sauce to credibility!
Google Ads was our chosen steed for this battle, it being our preferred traffic method. Having a deep understanding of our target audience and armed with SEO keyword research, we managed to sidestep the lengthy learning stage for paid advertisement. This allowed us to straight-up bid on the keywords we craved, attaining a 99% impression share in the process!
Now, going aggressive on ad spend did leave us exposed to click fraud. However, our advanced automatic systems, which link directly to the Google API, became our shield, allowing us to mitigate risks and keep a close watch for any rogue competitors trying to burn our cost.
The investment? We rolled out $9,478.13 in paid ads over the explosive 30 days. The reward? A staggering income of $21,034! Quick maths time: That’s a Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) of approximately 2.22! 🎉 And guess what? This was all through an affiliate deal! There was 0 customer support or follow up required from us.
We could further trim our ads cost over time with email marketing, but we decided to skip the upfront cost in this initial run. We felt the momentum, and the gains were more than we had imagined!
I hope this journey of ours sparks a light in you. The road to success is out there, waiting for you to step on the gas! Embrace the knowledge, harness the power of digital marketing, and keep pushing boundaries! And remember, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey and the thrill of what’s possible!
